Waldemar Behn has introduced a Celtic malt whisky to its portfolio.
The whisky, which is a blend of whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, France and Germany, is named Talbert, and has been produced in Bretagne, France.
The company, which already owns Danzka vodka, Pallini Limoncello liqueur, G’Vine gin and Bache Gabrielsen Cognac, said that it has always wanted to expand its portfolio to include a whisky brand and that now was the right time to launch.
“In travel retail, although it is not hard to get a listing, it is more favourable to join together in terms of marketing and promotion and logistics. Since having joined together it also means Talbert becomes part of a family of brands who all share the same values,” said Phillipe Biais, Export Director, Waldemar Behn.
