Aurora World returns to TFWA World Exhibition & Conference where it will highlight its popular and eco-friendly Palm Pals range.
Named ‘Palm Pals’ for the way they comfortably sit in the palm of your hand, the range features a selection of super soft beanie plush made of entirely sustainable and eco-friendly materials.
Brand-new to the range are: Airy Avocado, Juicy Strawberry, Vivi Rainbow and Summer Cloud, which join existing characters Slomo Sloth, Hedgie Hedgehog, Safara Giraffe, Betsy Chick, Chilly Penguin, Meow Kitty, Busky Husky, Wooley Lamb, Happy Hamster, Wizard Pig, Ella Bunny, and Sly Fox. All characters measure 13 centimetres and retail at €9.95.
“Palm Pals has proven to be one of our most popular plush ranges, very affordable and great to collect for children and young adults alike,” says Garry Stoner, Global Travel Retail Sales Manager, Aurora World. “It’s important to keep the offer fresh, however, hence the new additions. We’re very happy to be introducing the extended Palm Pals collection in Cannes this year; along with our other well known ranges including Eco Nation, Sparkle Tales, Sea Sparkles, Fancy Pals and YooHoo.”
All YooHoo characters now include QR codes which consumers can scan for access to the dedicated website with details of YooHoo mobile apps including various games, stickers and activities for children.
“After a very challenging 18 months, we’re now seeing a positive upturn in business, particularly with our Scandinavian ferry partners and through European airports where travel restrictions are beginning to lift,” Stoner explains. “While footfall is still down, we are seeing a definite increase in spend per head and plush continues to represent a valuable impulse purchase item for retailers, especially where there is a higher percentage of family traffic.”
