The TFWA Lounge, in partnership with Qatar Duty Free, relaunches face-to-face networking for the post-pandemic era at TFWA World Exhibition & Conference.
It will be open from 18:30 to 21:00 on Monday 25 October to Wednesday 27 October at Carlton Beach.
After 18 months of working from home, there is a real appetite to resume in-person contact. The TFWA Lounge, supported by main partner Qatar Duty Free, has been designed with networking in mind while factoring in the need for space and ventilation, as current health measures require. From a prime position on the Carlton Beach, the TFWA Lounge will provide the ultimate setting for industry professionals to relax, enjoy a glass together and mingle once the exhibition closes each evening.
The TFWA Lounge is also supported by sponsors Interparfums, Quintessential Brands, Duty Free Global, Perfetti Van Melle, Heineken, Pernod Ricard, Bonne Maman, Valrhona, and Mionetto.
Each evening will have a specific theme:
Monday 25 October marks the launch of TFWA i.lab and Innovation in Action, with sponsorship by Mondelez, Altavia Travel Retail and BW Confidential.
Tuesday 26 October has a Women in Travel Retail (WiTR) theme, with all genders welcome. WiTR is raising money for Impact Hong Kong, which helps women experiencing homelessness to settle in a safe home, restore their mental and physical wellbeing, build their self-esteem and social capital, and discover their purpose.
Wednesday 27 October will see Industry Associations and their staff honoured, with a chance to thank them for their work in such difficult times.
