M avive is shining a spotlight this year onto its BMW fragrance line, reaching across GTR to showcase the potential of the brand. Speaking at this year’s show, Marco Vidal, Managing Director at Mavive, was showing the company’s wares on its stand, illustrating how the relationship is being supported. Describing the union with BMW, Vidal said: “We are going to be focusing on our BMW fragrance line since that relationship is very new and is the world’s leading premium manufacturer of cars and motorcycles.” He added: “We have a lot to show people, but that is definitely one of the main things we are showing.” RivieraVillageRC13 Mavive zooms in with BMW H eineken re-emphasised its messages of quality and also noted how integral the travel retail channel is for its business. Heineken Global Duty Free Manager Niek Vonk said: “Heineken is a truly global beer supplier, number two in the world, the widest distributed beer brand in the world, and doing very well, obviously, we had a difficult period during Covid, where we saw the old trade closures in many of our markets, as well as a lot of delay and gain in retail sector and obviously in duty free. Heineken reiterates its quality hallmarks There was quite a significant effect.” Vonk explained: “In the travel retail business, where we can cater for so many different local needs as the consumers have. It’s not only the Heineken brand, obviously, but with these brands, we can cater with a Tiger brand in Asia and with Lagunitas in the craft corner. We really can cater for all sorts of needs. Basically, all is about quality. We, as a team, are really focused on delivering quality products.” Vonk added: “Connecting is really focused on for us, the five core channels being cruise lines, ferries, military border business and airlines, airport. We’re really, truly focusing on the on-trade environment, where we really can showcase our products in those channels. We work with dedicated teams.
