Today: Sector designations With its 40 members elected every two years, the Management Committee defines TFWA’s objectives and strategy, oversees resource allocation and approves newmembers. Seats on the Committee are allocated by product category (or ‘sector’) based on each sector’s market share and proportion of TFWA membership. If there are more candidates than seats for a particular sector, all TFWA member companies are required to vote for the companies they w nt t represent their sector. This year’s Sector Designations will be held today from 8am to midday at the TFWA Office on the ground level of the Palais des Festivals. Tomorrow: AGM The Management Committee representatives elected at the Sector Designations are formally appointed at TFWA’s Annual General Meeting, which also makes decisions about the Association’s future. The AGM gives members an important opportunity to ask questions, review financial data and approve the annual budget. The 2024 AGMwill take place tomorrow in Auditorium K of the Palais des Festivals, and members holding mandates should arrive at 8:30am to register.
