Loacker Area Manager Andrea Dallapiccola said: “Usually we only bring our duty free and travel retail portfolio here, but this year we wanted to increase our presence and also bring some other items that we usually don’t bring along. This means we have things like our spread and some chocolate bars, so we can show things like our bestsellers all around the world in the domestic market. We also have some special editions that we are using in special promotions.” Dallapiccola also stated that “the main message Loacker wants to transmit is that next year it is going to celebrate 100 years”. He hinted: “We want people to be ready because something is happening.” Dallapiccola revealed how “the main concept we are showing is our commitment to sustainability. All the bags around here are made from paper. Everything has been moved to paper for two years already. Raw ingredients Then, we are using videos, so people can understand that all our ingredients are following the sustainability trend.” Dallapiccola insisted that this begins with every single rawmaterial. He noted: “Starting from the hazelnut, which is our most important rawmaterial and ingredient to milk, vanilla and cocoa – everything is linked to sustainability.” Dallapiccola added: “We also have an island here at the stand and this is a good opportunity to see how the wafers are covered and produced. And it’s very eyecatching as a concept. We have already seen lots more people stopping by asking about it and trying the fresh product.” YellowVillageAA11 Wednesday 2 Oc tobe r 2024 37 T F W A D A I L Y
