Clearly a take on the espresso martini, the new ready-to-drink cocktail represents only the second time in its 178-year history that another formula has had the privilege to bear the Underberg name. “Bartenders have always been making interesting new drinks with Underberg, and we normally left to them it and stayed away, but then it occurred to us that something exciting was happening,” explained Underberg-Ruder talking to the Dailies in the exhibition yesterday. “Adding a herb touch has really elevated the classic cocktail, and it proved such a success that we decided to bottle it, while keeping the whole supply chain – the Arabica coffee and vanilla, all within our house, just as we do with the original Underberg.” GreenVillage L46 Underberg debuts Espresso Herbtini ready-to-drink cocktail S ome 15 years after arriving on the scene, Moroccanoil has come back to where it all began with its all-newMoroccanoil Treatment Purple. Formulated for blonde, lightened, or silver hair, Moroccanoil Treatment Purple works by infusing the original Moroccanoil with carefully balanced violet pigments to gradually correct unwanted brassiness in the hair, and add depth, dimension, and shine. The new product stands alongside Moroccanoil Treatment Light, a more lightweight version of the original, developed for fine and lighter-coloured hair and, of course, Moroccanoil Treatment Original, the argan oil-infused hair oil to smooth frizz, detangle, condition, and boost shine. “Were doing incredibly well in travel retail,” reports John Gates, SVP GTR (pictured left). “We entered as a hair product, at a time when hair did not do well in GTR, but Moroccanoil now represents a continually expanding multi- category beauty range in which the latest addition is scalp care – after all a healthy scalp means healthy hair.” RivieraVillageRD8 Moroccanoil Purple – more blonde less brass Wednesday 2 Oc tobe r 2024 38 T F W A D A I L Y
