Make sure you are there for the buffet dinner followed by celebration of the anniversary at 22:00 and a big party under the stars afterwards. W omen in Travel Retail+ (WiTR+) has expanded and is celebrating its biggest get-together this week with boosted attendance at its meeting at the Brown Forman stand in the Beach Village. Speaking about its recent developments, Sarah Branquinho, President of the Duty Free World Council and Women in Travel Retail (WiTR+) Chair said: “WiTR+ is having an absolutely stellar year thanks in part to the flood of corporate partnerships we have, which has generated so many members. We are now well over 700 members, and we have a target of getting to 1,000 and that has enabled us to do a number of things. We’ve been able to relaunch our website and we are launching a mentoring programme which will start small, but build using the talents of women in the industry who are going to mentor others, which we think is a fantastic vision. We already also have our monthly webinars too.” Branquinho added: “As you know, we have a charity each year, which is part of what WiTR+ does.
