Speaking at the show, Extend Beauty Director General Francois de Pracomtal said: “At Extend Beauty we have four brands, including two brands that we own. The first brand is Marina de Bourbon, which we have, we had for 30 years. The second brand that we own is Korlo ff , which we acquired last year in June 2024, and then we have two licences. The first licence is Le Coq Sportif which is a textile fashion company and we launched its first perfumes last year. The second licence is a fashion brand we are launching this year and bringing to the market in October which is the launch of Agnes B.” Pracomtal explained: “The brand had some perfume previously with L’Oreal, which they stopped both the perfume and cosmetics in 2012. Now, this will be the first time that Agnes B comes back into the cosmetic and perfume industry.” Pracomtal insisted: “We are extremely proud to be the licensee of this very famous brand. They have boutiques worldwide, especially in Asia and there are more than 350 boutiques in the world, 200 in Japan and 15 in Taiwan. Plus, Agnes B has boutiques in New York on Fifth Avenue and has boutiques in London too, so it’s incredibly well-recognised globally.” The Agnes B licence is what Pracomtal calls “a comeback in the fragrance business” and one that “customers were waiting for” which he explained is a frequent question from people on the brand’s website: ‘When will you do perfumes and cosmetics again?’ So it’s really a nice comeback, and that’s why we’re extremely proud.” Pracomtal revealed that “right now, we’re still in discussion with distributors, and the focus would be to be in the local market” but hinted that “it’s very important to be very strong in the open market before going into duty free”.
