It is also the 26th TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, which has swiftly established itself as a stellar event in its own right, and yesterday Erik Juul-Mortensen shared that this is his last year as TFWA President. Yesterday the TFWA Daily caught up with Hani Ezra Hussin, Senior General Manager Commercial Services, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, to discuss her expectations and desires from the Hosted Airport Programme ONE2ONE meeting service. Hani Ezra is just one of around 40 airports a tt ending the programme which, for the second year, forms a key engagement function of TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference this week in Singapore. “Our primary objective here is to explore strategic partnerships and innovative concepts that align with Malaysia Airports’ vision of elevating the travel retail experience across our airport network,” explained Hani Ezra. “With our Commercial Reset nearing full completion we are keen to identify and work with innovative brands, concepts, emerging trends and retail technologies that can add value to our retail mix supporting the evolving needs of today’s modern traveller.” In pursuit of this Hani Ezra agrees she is “exploring new ideas” which address specific needs in “an approach closely guided by evolving traveller demographics and consumer behaviours – for example, we’re enhancing digital engagement on platforms like Xiaohongshu, WeChat, and Alipay to be tt er connect with our highest-spending visitor group from China.” Giving real examples of how this Malaysia Airports’ “Commercial Reset”: reaches near-90% completion across 1,000++ stores Hani Ezra Hussin, Senior General Manager Commercial Services, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad: “Our primary objective here is to explore strategic partnerships and innovative concepts that align with Malaysia Airports’ vision of elevating the travel retail experience across our airport network.”
