L attafa Perfumes is bringing the gourmand trend to fragrances and showing scents can be sensory in more ways than one. Lattafa Perfumes Export Sales Manager Ufayd Khawaja explained more about the newest NPDs, as well as the concept in general. He said: “We are a Middle East based country manufacturing company, and we’ve got the brand Lunaré, which we’re displaying in Singapore for the first time since it is a new and upcoming brand.” Khawaja noted: “Our concept looks at the big gourmand trend – it’s very popular right now among Gen Z. We have many fragrances tapping into that and when you smell something, you feel ‘I want to eat this’. So Eclair was one of our big ones. It was our buying product for 2024. You feel like you want to eat it. Also, right now, we have the trend for Dubai chocolate and so we have a pistachio one. We also have one that is banana and we had one for the cherry trend last year.” Looking out for the brand? Khawaja added: “People might find us across different travel retail stores in India. You can find our products in the US and all of our products still have that Middle Eastern touch.” Basement 2 / 2-K11 Perfume good enough to eat Diversity in a bottle D isplaying its line-up, Constellation Brands is talking to show attendees about its Napa wines and the differences between them. Explaining more, Constellation Brands General Manager, Asia, Brendan Da Costa said he was highlighting how “Constellation Brands is a US- based company” and wanted to let people know “we’ve got wineries across New Zealand, and Italy as well, but our base and our home and our heartland is certainly the US, particularly Napa Valley”. Da Costa said: “We’ve got three tiers of wines from Napa from Robert Mondavi: the Napa tier, the Estate tier, and then our Reserve tier. Then we’ve also got the Prisoner Wine Company and we’ve got two different styles – we’ve got a traditional French style Cabernet and a Zinfandel- based wine.” He admitted: “The Zin is much more accessible too.” What seems to be most enticing about the wines being showcased however is the fact that they all stand out in their own way. The Prisoner Wine Company in particular, he noted: “The label is actually quite interesting – it’s a de Boer etching. Then there is also another wine label that captures attention,” he added: “The Saldo, which is made with a Dymo machine”. Basement 2 / 2-C2 Wednesday 14 May 2025 16 T F W A D A I L Y
