Herita Marzotto Wine Estates arrives rebranded I talian wine group producer Santa Margherita Wine Group returned this year with a total rebrand. The name Herita hails to the heritage of the group’s history and ethos, as well as the name Margherita (after the wife of founder Gaetano Marzotto) and Marzotto the family behind the brand. Steeped in tradition and with deep ties to their Venetian roots, the group of 8 vineyards produces a variety of products. The original producer of white Pinot Grigio, founder Gaetano Marzotto’s passion project, launched in 1935, has grown to 8 vineyards in Italy and one in Oregon. This year the company rebranded to reflect the growth and modernisation of the business and acknowledge the introduction of more vineyards to the group. Export Director Giacomo Marzotto detailed the new branding and teased the soon to be launched Travel Exclusive Santa Margherita Valdobbiadene Prossecco Superiore DOCG. The exclusive new release will come with a hard-shell travel tube designed to be carried in suitcases and for gifting, offering protection while maintaining a stylish finish ideal for travellers. The design features signature Venetian colours and took inspiration from the Palazzo Ducale and the Silk Route. Marzotto explained throughout the growth of the company it is still important to maintain its strong heritage ties and incorporate the family history into its techniques. Making “bubbles accessible” through its Prosecco, it maintains the mindset “every day is a good day to celebrate”.
