I an Macleod Distillers (IMD), one of Scotland’s leading independent family-owned distillers, blenders and bottlers, brings excitement and innovation to TFWA World Exhibition & Conference this year across the malt whisky and gin categories. It is unveiling a range of new products within its premium spirits portfolio. “In the malt whisky category, IMD will highlight new expressions from three of the main whisky producing regions: Speyside, The Highlands and The Lowlands,” said William Ovens, Ian Macleod Distillers. From Speyside, IMD is unveiling the new, premium Single Malt, Tamdhu Cuatro Reserva N euhaus is launching a brand-new collection in collaboration with Tim Boury, the celebrated three-Michelin-starred Belgian chef. This exceptional assortment, titled ‘Les Savoureux’, brings together the world of pralines and gastronomy in a tribute to one of the most iconic chocolate traditions: gianduja. First created in 19th century Italy, gianduja is a smooth blend of chocolate and hazelnuts, celebrated for its creamy texture and rich nuttiness. Neuhaus, the inventor of the Belgian praline, has partnered with three-Michelin-starred chef Tim Boury to reinvent this timeless classic into a bold and sophisticated gastronomic creation. For ‘Les Savoureux’ the Neuhaus Maîtres Chocolatiers and Boury have worked hand in hand to craft five unique cube-shaped pralines. Each one places a different nut in the spotlight, elegantly paired with Belgian chocolate and unexpected hints of spices and fruits. Presented in an elegant box, the collection features six indulgent pralines. For those who want a first taste of the experience, a refined smaller giftbox is also available, featuring four carefully selected flavours from the collection. From The Lowlands region, IMD will showcase the Rosebank Single Malt Vintage Release III. The third in a collection of five GTR-exclusive Rosebank vintages, this is a 1991 vintage and 33 years old. In addition, Glenfarclas, owned by fellow family-owned distiller, J&G Grant, is to be showcased as part of the IMD portfolio for the first time, as part of the agreement whereby Ian Macleod Distillers will distribute the brand in GTR.
