WiTR+ celebrates growth and global engagement at flagship event ASUTIL announces 25th anniversary conference in Punta Cana W iTR+ gathered yesterday evening for its flagship networking event at TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, celebrating another successful year of growth and global engagement. “This is our flagship event,” said WiTR+ Chair Sarah Branquinho. “We’re delighted it’s being hosted at the Brown-Forman stand in the Beach Village, and that we’ve reached absolute capacity. We’re heading towards 900 members, thanks in part to the corporate partnership scheme, which has really boosted our numbers.” Branquinho extended thanks to the individuals and corporate partners who helped lead this year’s global networking events – ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale talks with guest speakers around the world. “It’s been a fantastic development,” she said. The WiTR+ mentoring programme was also praised as “a fabulous service” offering free guidance from respected industry mentors – “both female and male.” A SUTIL held a press conference at TFWA World Exhibition & Conference yesterday, at which the association announced Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic as the location of its milestone 25th conference on 2-5 June 2026. This milestone edition comes as ASUTIL marks more than a quarter of a century of bringing together the duty free and travel retail industry across the Americas, fostering business opportunities and strengthening partnerships.
