For our industry, this is the annual meeting place where the latest product developments are presented, knowledge is shared, and connections are made. Nowhere else brings together such a concentration of brands, retailers, airports, airlines, cruise and ferry operators, border stores and other travel partners, creating the connections and conversations that can lead to new opportunities, stronger partnerships and real commercial value. At the heart of the week is our Exhibition, where senior industry leaders, brand and retail specialists come together to meet existing partners, discover what’s new and shape what comes next. I encourage you to make the most of every opportunity at meetings, in the aisles, on the Croisette, over a coffee or across our vibrant networking programme. Our Conference and Workshops offer another perspective, bringing together leading voices from inside and beyond our industry to explore the forces affecting our business and the opportunities ahead. This year, all four workshops will take place in the Jean Mineur Auditorium in the Palais des Festivals, making it easier to build these sessions into your programme. Networking runs through the entire event because the value of the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference is ultimately about people – our ideas shared and business connections made. And finally, I’m beyond proud that this year TFWA is supporting two important charitable initiatives, Yes We Cannes! and #KickCancerThon. Both initiatives reflect the collaborative spirit of our community and allow us to use our collective energy to make a meaningful impact where it matters. I encourage everyone to get involved and help us make a positive difference beyond our industry. I hope you have a productive, successful and enjoyable week in Cannes.
