D uty Free Dynamics’ key objective this year is to accelerate both existing partnerships and new business opportunities. “Cannes brings together our brands, retail partners and teams in one place, allowing us to showcase what differentiates Duty Free Dynamics: an end-to-end travel retail approach that goes well beyond distribution, from portfolio and market development to POS execution, trade marketing, training, logistics and sell-out management,” explains Martin Mairal, CEO, Duty Free Dynamics. This year, Duty Free Dynamics is particularly focused on developing new commercial opportunities, including new boutiques and shop-in-shop projects across LATAM and Asia, while continuing to expand its partnerships with key international operators. At TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, Duty Free Dynamics is presenting several new developments across its portfolio, particularly from PLAYMOBIL and New Era. For PLAYMOBIL, Duty Free Dynamics will showcase new licensed and collectible products, including models such as the Porsche Carrera GT, Volkswagen T1 Camper and Ferrari 250 GTO, alongside collaborations with Mattel and Barbie. “These launches are particularly interesting because they show how PLAYMOBIL is expanding beyond its traditional family audience into the growing ‘kidult’ segment – nostalgic, collectible pieces that give the brand a renewed appeal, while remaining true to its core brand DNA,” says Mairal. New Era will make its first appearance in Cannes with Duty Free Dynamics, showcasing the continued evolution of the brand from its baseball heritage into a broader sports and lifestyle proposition. E tat Libre d’Orange is present at TFWA World Exhibition & Conference with a bigger booth in a key year that has seen it extend its collaboration with Gebr. Heinemann and recently become centrally listed with Lagardère and Avolta. “We’ll build on the recent launch of ‘Let’s Pretend’ – a Saffron Peach accord that seduced a large number of consumers exposed to it, and the roll out of Uruk Chronicles in our Orange Extraordinaire line – a Strawberry Tonka composition by the highly talented Jordi Fernandez of Givaudan that did marvels while exclusive at Harrods for a year and is now being introduced worldwide,” explains Olivier Mariotti, General Manager, Etat Libre d’Orange. Travel retail is extremely important to Etat Libre d’Orange, as the first testimony of its brand penetration. “It’s also a unique place to service those qualified consumers and create new interest,” says Mariotti. “It comes as a natural good addition to our duty paid network and gives us the opportunity to expose the brand to new educated consumers. As we insist to invest into retail design in every door it builds also brand recognition.” Etat Libre d’Orange is focused on partnering with retailers and operators to find the best win-win locations. “We initiated our presence in Europe and we’re now looking out for a roll out in the Middle East when the international situation will settle down,” Mariotti explains. “The strength of the brand in Asia also makes it a prime target and zone of interest for us despite its complexity and specificity.” BlueVillageAA9 Duty Free Dynamics showcases PLAYMOBIL and New Era growth opportunities Etat Libre d’Orange brings new fragrances and fresh ambitions to Cannes New Era itself has recently become Official Teamwear and Headwear Partner of the Atlassian Williams F1 Team for the 2026 season, alongside newer collaborations with Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona – partnerships that create significant opportunities for travel retail, particularly where global brand recognition can be combined with strong local relevance.
