O nce again, yesterday the TFWA Dailies were honoured to interview Nemiroff CEO Yuriy Sorochynskyi, and we are relieved and cheered to report that the “the indomitable spirit of Ukraine” continues to prevail, thanks in large part to Nemiroff’s continued success in GTR. “Last week we had 37 hours of air raids – equivalent to almost an entire working week lost, but we are working and operating, and we are increasing our deliveries to make sure that supply is not interrupted – exports are growing, and we hope to achieve double digit growth in all markets.” Of course, GTR is critical to this, including activations with Heinemann in Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna, as well as with Avolta at Gatwick. The hero product is the De Luxe RESERVE vodka, launched two years ago in Cannes, this premium vodka undergoes an 11-step filtration in a process which incorporates contact with oak, and is billed as “a strong character made for stout-hearted people.” Sorochynskyi, regrets that fatigue among European audiences has seen the conflict relegated in news coverage. However, as a vital contributor to the Ukrainian economy he is resolute: “Ukraine will win, Russia can’t.” Significantly he also believes the expression ‘war is the mother of invention’ is entirely true – both in the case of Nemiroff, but also for Ukraine as a whole. “We are doing a great job, Ukraine’s resilience has created a unique perception about us which will last forever. We will rebuilt, stronger and better, and the world’s support for our struggle will turn into demand for all things Ukrainian – including Nemiroff vodka.” YellowVillage E30 Nemiroff CEO: “Our universally- recognised flag has pride of place on our label – Ukraine sells” U sed to life afloat, Stena Lines’ Annelli Persson and Paula Jones, enjoyed a warm, relaxed reception hosted by SEKONDA aboard the Yacht Talila in the Harbour Village yesterday evening. Talk of the night was the launch of the SEKONDA Smart Ring which marks an important expansion of its wearable tech category to SEKONDA’s already very extensive representation in GTR. “The SEKONDA Smart Ring offers health insights in a beautiful, discreet piece of jewellery, without the premium price tag or ongoing subscription,” said Pete Ogley, SEKONDA CEO, as he greeted guests aboard late into the night.
