S panish winery Torres is premiering here Salmos, a travel retail exclusive limited-edition wine with numbered bottles that will be launched in October – firstly in Spain – through its partnership with Avolta. A fifth-generation family business based close to Barcelona in Vila Franca del Penedès, Torres was founded in 1870 and the company has historically specialized in wine and diversified into spirits, including brandy, in 1928. The group has now a global wine portfolio that includes wines from Spain, Chile, and California. “The idea is to cover every price range for every wine,” Global Travel Retail Director Bruno Teixeira explains. Beside the Salmos launch, “we are also trying to focus more on The La Rioja D.O. appellation,” Texeira says, citing an increasing demand for this type of wine. Released two years ago, the Malpastor Crianza exemplifies this turn and is still at the forefront of Torres marketing and distribution efforts in a consumer product category less prone to the incessant renewal of ranges, unlike fashion or perfumes. Last Torres showcases TR exclusive Salmos year, Torres wines also released Casals, a Vermouth which also exists in an alcohol- free version. “We are a global brand with a footprint in domestic and travel retail markets alike in every continent,” Teixeira says. “We are listed in every major distribution channels,” he goes on, citing the likes of Heinemann, Lagardère, China Duty Free Group or Lotte. This ubiquitous presence on the travel market includes “airports, border shops, cruise lines, ferry lines” and pouring on Turkish Airlines flights. BlueVillage E3 Lindt unveils Bali Style Chocolate as latest travel retail innovation L indt & Sprüngli is using this year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference as a platform to strengthen its collaboration with partners and drive growth in the premium chocolate category. “A key element in this is our innovation showcase, highlighting the new products and formats which will allow our retailers to capitalise on incremental opportunities,” explains Peter Zehnder, CEO Global Travel Retail, Lindt & Sprüngli. The big premiere this year is Lindt Bali Style Chocolate – the next destination in its ‘Flavours of the World. Created by Lindt’ journey. This follows the huge success of Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate and Lindt Tokyo Style Chocolate. “We’re unveiling this to the industry for the first time before its wider commercial launch later in the year,” says Zehnder. “It’s inspired by the culinary diversity and flavours of Southeast Asia, and places Ube, the vibrant purple yam, at the heart of the creation. We’re bringing a very limited number of handmade tablets to Cannes, so our retail partners will be some of the first lucky people to get a taste!” Lindt is also building on the successful launch of the LINDOR Cornet platform, with the launch of LINDOR Cornet Cinnamon Roll, a limited-edition flavour available exclusively in travel retail. “It is a delicious addition to the LINDOR range that takes cues from the familiar taste of freshly baked cinnamon rolls and combines this with LINDOR’s signature smooth-melting filling,” Zehnder shares. “The range will also be extended with Lindor Mango Passionfruit Cornet, following a successful trial in select retail stores. We see really high potential for this limited flavour edition especially with Indian and South-East Asian travellers. Finally, we’re excited to give partners a first glimpse of the global roll-out of a GTR exclusive format for Lindt Choco Wafer as well as other innovations for 2027.” BeachVillage 2 Beach 14 Tax Free World Association 24 rue Cambacérès, 75008 Paris, France Tel : +33 1 40 74 09 86 Fax : +33 1 40 74 09 85 Charlène Tourneaux Managing Director c.tourneaux@tfwa.com Cécile Lamotte Marketing Director c.lamotte@tfwa.com Produced by: Paul Hogan Publisher paul.hogan@tfwa-dailies.com Julian Bidlake Publication Director julian.bidlake@tfwa-dailies.com Ian Hill Consultant Publisher ian.hill@tfwa-dailies.com Ross Falconer Editor ross.falconer@tfwa-dailies.com Grégory Dziedzic Assistant Editor Phoebe Givron-Taylor Assistant Editor TomAspel Designer tom@aspelcreative.com Grant Pritchard Photographer photography@grantpritchard.co.uk PPS Publications Ltd post@pps-publications.com © PPS Publications Ltd 2026 Wednesday 30 September 2026 50 T F W A D A I L Y
