Masi will present a carefully selected range of wines designed for today’s global travellers, offering refined and contemporary styles that combine quality and immediate appeal. This includes the well-established travel retail favourites, Nectar Campofiorin 2022 and Nectar Costasera 2020, alongside this year’s highlights: Pinot Noir del Re, a new premium still wine from the Oltrepò Pavese hills, celebrated for its elegance, silky texture, and vibrant ruby- red colour that reflects its unique terroir and Fresco di Masi, available as both red and white, lively and versatile wines with reduced alcohol and a playful label, perfect for casual and social occasions. Pinot Noir del Re comes fromMasi’s Tenuta Casa Re estate, acquired in 2023, in Montecalvo Versiggia, in the heart of the Versa Valley. The Oltrepò Pavese region, famous historically for its wine-growing traditions, is the world’s third largest producer of Pinot Noir grapes and is an ideal terroir for this demanding grape variety, which requires precise environmental conditions and meticulous care to express itself at its best. Aging for just six months in oak accentuates the distinctive character of Pinot Noir del Re without compromising its natural delicacy. Sophisticated yet approachable, this medium-bodied wine balances complexity and elegance, appealing both to connoisseurs and everyday wine enthusiasts. Basement 2 / 2-Y5 T aizi is the world’s first Western-made baijiu – a pioneering spirit born in Christchurch, New Zealand, where Chinese imperial tradition meets the pristine landscapes of the Southern Hemisphere. Crafted from premium Australian sorghum and New Zealand wheat, and drawn from pure underground spring water sourced from the Southern Alps, Taizi is distilled through a historic 1850s John Dore copper pot still – a vessel that lends the spirit its unmistakable depth and character. The result is a clear, exceptionally smooth expression, opening with bright berry notes layered with hints of liquorice and subtle herbal undertones. The name Taizi carries a beautiful duality: meaning ‘Extreme Purple’ in one reading, yet sounding identical to ‘Crown Prince’ in Chinese – an apt reflection of the spirit’s regal ambition. Founded in 2007 by two visionary brothers, Taizi was built on resilience, passion, and a profound respect for centuries of Chinese distilling heritage. It stands today as a cultural bridge between East and West – a drink crafted for Crown Princes, offering nothing less than the ultimate imperial experience, recognised the world over.
