Significantly, Singh credits the TFWA events as the beginning of its relationship with Heinemann, which led to the foundation of the joint venture with India’s BBM Group which will operate the master concessions across both duty free and domestic duty-paid at Noida International Airport (NIA), a deal which also marked Heinemann’s first landfall in India. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official inauguration of the airport on 28 March 2026, commercial operations commence on 15 June 2026, opening a new gateway for passengers, airlines, and cargo operators in the Delhi National Capital Region and North India.
