J oseph Ribkoff is continuing to build momentum in travel retail, combining almost 70 years of heritage with a renewed focus on reaching new consumers and markets, according to Nadine Clour, Vice President Global Sales and Business Development. Speaking at the show, Clour highlighted a period of significant development for the Canadian fashion brand, including the appointment of Elizabeth Hurley as the face of its Fall campaign and new Edit 57 capsule, named in tribute to its founding year, 1957. Clour described Hurley as an authentic, multi-generational ambassador who embodies the lifestyle and confidence of the Joseph Ribkoff woman. The launch coincided with another milestone, Joseph Ribkoff’s move into e-commerce. The platform enables customers discovering the label through travel retail to continue their relationship with the brand and explore its full assortment online. Travel retail remains central to the brands growth strategy. Following encouraging testing with a major European operator, discussions are progressing around future opportunities. Plans are also advancing for further expansion across Asia Pacific, with new activations expected. Clour noted that the brand is also attracting younger consumers as shoppers increasingly move away from fast fashion towards longer-lasting pieces. With clothing designed to Joseph Ribkoff flying high in travel retail with new celebrity partnership travel easily and transition from day to evening, Joseph Ribkoff sees significant potential to reach a new generation of consumers through travel retail.
